Food Safety Tips Prior to Cooking:
Store in freezer until 48 hours prior to cooking.
Set in pan & thaw in refrigerator.
Cook to internal temperature of 74C/165F.
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat the oven to warm the pitas( wrap in foil) if desired.
Cook rice according to instructions provided.
Remove chicken from marinade and reserve marinade. Pat dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Heat butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken to skillet and sauté until brown, about 5 minutes per side.
Add reserved marinade and 1/2 cup of water and bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer uncovered until chicken is cooked through, turning occasionally, about 15 minutes.
Transfer chicken and sauce to platter.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve with yogurt and raisins, if desired.
