Vegetarian Malaysian Satay with Quinoa

Quinoa (a delicious south American grain) smothered in a creamy Satay sauce with Tofu.

Cooking Instructions

Food Safety Tips Prior to Cooking:

Store in freezer until 48 hours prior to cooking.
Set in pan & thaw in refrigerator.
Cook to internal temperature of 74C/165F.

Cooking Instructions:

Place quinoa and 3 cups of water in a pot on stove, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer 15 minutes or until water has been absorbed. Fluff with a fork.


Add 2 cups of hot water to TVP/ Satay bag. Seal bag and massage well to mix. Pour contents into medium pot, stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
Mix sauce and quinoa together and serve!

A fresh green salad.
