Honey-Mustard Beer Bratwursts on Whole Wheat Hoagie Rolls

Italian Bratwurst sausages slow-cook in a beer marinade with peppers, onions, honey and dijon mustard. Served over whole-wheat hoagie rolls.

Store in freezer until 48 hours prior to cooking.
Set in pan & thaw in refrigerator.
Cook to internal temperature of 74C/165F.

Cooking Instructions:

Crock Pot Method: Pour contents of Ziploc bag into crock pot, cover and cook on low heat for 5-6 hours. Check Bratwurst for doneness with a cooking thermometer.
Stove Method: Pour contents of Ziploc bag into a stock pot and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour. Check Bratwurst for doneness with a cooking thermometer.
Serve bratwursts with the buns (toasted), and the onions and peppers from the pot, assorted mustards and a mixed green salad.
